“A promise must never be broken”-

-Alexander Hamilton

Reflection: This is a very important quote to me. The quote is reflecting that you must always keep a promise. A promise is when you committed to do something for someone. There are cases were people don’t keep their promise. They don’t know how bad it is if you don't keep your promise. Because they are counting on your word. In cases were you don’t keep your promise you lose someone’s trust. They aren't going to trust you anymore because you let them down. An example to keep your promise is to contact them and tell them you aren’t going to make it in time. They’ll understand that somethings pop up. I believe this quote is true. I believe it's true because a promise shouldn’t be broken. I wouldn’t like it if the person who promised me to do a certain task let me down. So it’s better to keep your promise or contact if any emergency happens.

-Theodore Hesburgh

Reflection: Theodore Hesburgh quote is reflecting that the only point of  making a decision is because it’s right. In life you have an obstacle of choices. You might not know which one is, but you’ll know it’s right. People tend to confuse honesty for popularity in some cases. An example can be “If i don’t make the choice of taking the drug, there going to say I’m a “wimp” or “your lame”. They follow into pressure and take the chance to become  popular. I think Theodore Hesburgh statement is true. I believe it's true because we do have a choice in this world, it's just a matter of fact if do it right. It might be hard to make the right decision. I believe in this quote because there is a point in time where we either fall into the right crowd or not. It is our choice to a decision. An example can be that your friends are telling you to go to a party with drinking than a party with pizza. The best choice to make is to go to the party with pizza because it doesn’t intoxicate you like the drinking. So yes, you either have a choice to fall in or out.
